Tantalus

The performance Tantalus is inspired in the Greek myth of Tantalus. The original story tells how Tantalus is condemned to remain in a lake with the water under the chin and beneath a tree full of fruits. Each time that a desperate Tantalus tries to reach either food or water, they withdraw from his sight and extent. In the same way, in this performance, the bowl with fruits settled over the table becomes a mere ornament, thus the only thing that the performer can approach to her mouth is her own hand, covered by a white made of the unleavened bread which reminds us to the catholic communion. Some type of cannibal action.
